The prevailing demographic characteristic in the Middle East is that it is one of the fastest growing regions in the world, with a population projected to grow from 600 million to 1.1. Billion by 2050.  The Middle East is also characterized for its youth predominance constituting 40%+ of its total population, and massive movements across borders due to the region's instability and conflict.

Majority of the population in the Middle East are composed of Muslims.Aside from that, the Middle East made up 3% of the world population. This part of Asia has 5 languages that are often used by the people, They speak Persian, Turkish, Berber, Arabic and Kurdish.
