(2, 7) abd (5, 1)
Let m = slope
m = (1 - 7)/(5 - 2)
m = (-6)/(3)
m = -2
Use the slope and one of the points to plug into the point-slope formula.
I will use the point (5, 1).
y - 1 = -2(x - 5)
y - 1 = -2x + 10
The equation is
y = -2x + 11
