2 3/6 = 15/6

15/6 / 1/6 = 15 * 6 / 6 = 15 answer

well, is just the quotient of 2 and 3/6 divided by 1/6, that many students.

let's convert the mixed fraction to "improper", and divide then.

\bf \stackrel{mixed}{2(3)/(6)}\implies \cfrac{2\cdot 6+3}{6}\implies \stackrel{improper}{\cfrac{15}{6}}\\\\ -------------------------------\\\\ \cfrac{\quad (15)/(6)\quad }{(1)/(6)}\implies \cfrac{15}{6}\cdot \cfrac{6}{1}\implies \cfrac{15}{1}\implies \stackrel{students}{15}
