Plate a and plate b are both continental plates what is the most likely result if the two plates collide

It depends what kind they are. Continental or oceanic, so if its those ones then the oceanic plat will most likely go under the continental so a subduction fault would occur but if its 2 oceanics or continentals then one would probably snap from the pressure or they will both go upwards creating a mountain range. I hope this helps
