The Fifth Amendment says that no person shall “be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.” What does the term due process mean in this context?

The term "due process" in this context means that if a person IS deprived of life, liberty or property, there has to be a true and fair reason behind it. This is usually determined by the Court of Law. Example, someone' life may be deprived via a death penalty case.
