lets call adult as X and children as Y
2(X)+4(Y)= $50
Adult ticket is $8 more than children
X=Y+8
Plugging the above in the first equation
2(Y+8)+ 4(Y)= 50
2Y+16+ 4Y=50
6Y+16=50
6Y=50-16
6Y=34
Y=34/6
Y=5.67
X=5.67+8
X=13.67
Adult =$13.67
