B.12.5, 1.2x10^7 is 12,000,000, and 9.6x10^5 is 960,000, 12,000,000 divided by 960,00 equals 12.5

Current worth of the investment =
1.2(10^(7) )

Worth of the investment 20 years before =
9.6(10^(5) )

To find the number of times greater, we have to divide.

Number of times greater =
(current worth)/(worth 20 years before)

=(1.2(10^(7) ))/(9.6(10^(5) ))

=(1.2(10^(2) ))/(9.6)

=(120)/(9.6)

= 12.5

Hence, the correct option is (b).
