For all of these answers, the equation used was (AB + CD)/2 = EF

1.12+24=36 36/2=18
2. 21 + 35 = 56 56/2 = 28
3. (7 + EF)/2 = 9
multiply by 2
7 + EF = 18
subtract 7
EF = 11

4. (AB + 32)/2 = 22
Multiply by 2
AB + 32 = 44
Subract 32
AB = 12

5. Average
