Which number is a solution of the inequality 7x-5>-2? ( by the way that sign is supposed to be a less than or equal to)

All you do is treat
\geq as if it were an equal sign to solve.
You add 5 on both sides to get
7x \geq 3
Then you divide on both sides to get
x \geq 3/7 which is closest to C
