-1/3x=9 I don’t get this problem because I am bad at fractions

The answer is x=27
First you do -1/3x•3/1 which cancels out

Second you do 9/1•3/1
and the answer comes down to

x=27

So the first step you would take is you would want to get x on one side, so you’ll want to divide both sides by -1/3 so that x is the only thing on the left side so now you have x=9/ -1/3
Something to remember is:
When dividing fractions don’t be shy, flip the right one and multiply
So no you’ll flip -1/3 to become -3/1 which is just -3 so now you have;
9/-3
The final answer is -3
