Okay. So, to find the walking rate, we must do 1 1/2 / 3/5. The rule of dividing fractions is keep, Change, flip. 3/2 * 5/3 is 15/6 or 2 1/2 in simplest form. Laura’s walking rate is 2 1/2 miles an hour.
