He argued that individuals had the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happinessBecause of this point of view, he heavily supported the first amendment that made to the constitution, which advocates basic freedoms for all citizens in united states, such as freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to create government petition, etc.

large groups would create an unfair majority, in which our founding fathers were completely against (their rights would be destroyed, they were rich, and therefore apart of the minority)
