If you are given the height and base of a pyramid, how would you get the slope of one of the triangular faces?

by using the Pythagorean theorem

use the height and half the base dimension for the 2 edges of a triangle and the slope ( slant height) would be the hypotenuse

so: SQRT(height ^2 + half of base^2) = hypotenuse ( Slant height)
