To find the function rule for the line ,

we pick two points from the graph

Lets pick (-2,1) and (0,-2)

We find the slope using two given points

slope = (y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)

(-2,1) is (x1,y1) and (0,-2) is (x2,y2)

Plug in the values in the slope formula

slope = (-2 - 1)/(0 - (-2))

slope = (-3)/(2)

To frame equation we use equation y = mx + b

Here y intercept is -2 that is our b

So equation becomes
y=(-3)/(2) x -2
