How to solve for a side of a right triangle when you only know one side?

If you only know one side, then that's not enough information to solve for any other part of a triangle. You also need to know the measures of the angles at each end of it. In a right triangle, that means you need to know one of the acute angles (since you already know the right angle).

Well if you know the area of the triangle you can use that to find the other lengths or else just use the Pythagorean Theroem.
