Difference between a proton, electron and neutron and where they are located

A proton has a positive charge, a neutron has a neutral (no charge) charge, and an electron has a negative charge. The protons and neutrons are in the center of the atom and they make up the nucleus. The electron is moving around outside of the nucleus.
