In the barn the ratio of chicks to sheep is 12:7 if there are 49 sheep how many animal are in the barn?

Okay. So, there are 49 sheep in the barn. The ratio is 12:7. When we multiply 7 * 7, we get 49. When we do 12 * 7, we get 84. There are 84 chicks, but it asks for how many animals total. 84 + 49 = 133. There are 133 animals in the barn.
