One jet travels through 65 mi/h slower than the other

Jet one x (rate)

Jet two x + 65 mi/h (rate)

Rate= mi/h

time = h

Rate * time = (mi/ h)*h = mi

rate jate 1 * time + rate jate 2 * time = 8934

(x + 65 )* 6 + (x)*6 = 8934

6x + 6*65 + 6x = 8934

12x = 8934 - 6*65

12x = 8934- 390

x = 8544/12

x= 712

Answer
