By hypothesis, 1 km = 0.62137 mi.
Jamal has to drive 56 kilometers until he arrives at his destination, so he needs to drive 56*0.62137 = 34.7967 mi.
So Jamal have 34.7967 miles left.
Hope this helps! :)
