Amber. Insects and other prehistoric small animals were caught in the tree sap and the sap fossilized to perfectly preserve the creatures in a hard substance called amber. It is currently used in jewellery.

Amber, because in the Prehistoric times the insects and small dinosaurs fell into amber and became preserved in the hardened sap.
