In 2-3 sentences, explain why you need to define unfamiliar terms in a procedural text. Why is that an important step? What happens if you don't define those terms?

The purpose of a procedural text is to tell the reader how to do or make something. Most procedural texts come in the form of an instruction manual. n a procedural text it is important that all unfamiliar terms are explained, so that the reader understands every step clearly and there are no confusing terms. If in one of the steps of the procedural text, an unfamiliar term comes up and it is not defined, the reader may not understand the step correctly and all of the consequent steps may be done incorrectly.
