You are studying the boiling point of liquids with some fellow students. You have to liquids of different Molecular weights and you test each of them twice. In addition to the weight of the molecule, the different liquid compounds can be classified according to the type of intermolecular force.

For example, the following molecules has 5 carbon atoms, but pentanol has hydrogen bonds so it will have stronger bonds and therefore a higher boiling point than pentane which only forms Van der Waals bonds:
