Distance can never be negative so, therefore the answer could not be D) -245 or C) -185. It also cannot be A) 185 ,cause when you add 215+30=245 therefore, B) 245 is your answer! :) Hope this helpsÂ

You can't be a negative distance away from a person. Rule out C and D. to get the distance, you add the 2 numbers. 30+215 is 245. it is B.
