The three things that can be predicted about an element from its position in the periodic table is the atomic number of the element. The chemical symbol of the element. Also the atomic mass of the element.

The position of an element on the periodic table determines;
The atomic number(protons)
The number of shells the element has
The chemical properties
Their reactivity or valency
