there are two other ways the slaves could achieve free status:
1. through a last will and testament
If the owners died and it's the slaves were made to be free within his last will, then the slaves could obtain automatic status as a free main
2. Through legsilatives law
The government that granted the freedom such transforming a certain states free from savery
