N (nick) J (jeff) F (feet)
N=J*4+3
more than is +
4 times is multiplying by 4 (*4)

Hi Arib102502!
So let's write this out
Nick can throw a baseball 3>4 times than F. So to write an equation to find how many feet Nick can throw the ball we do 4F+3. Now this makes sense because he throws it +3 (three more) than 4F.
Hope this helps!
