3 pints will be your answer.
if 1 pint=2 cups and you need to get 6 cups of milk, you need to see which of your answers will equal 6 when timed by 2.
12x2=24. Wrong
8x2=16. Wrong
4x2=8 Wrong
3x2=6. Correct!

1 pint = 2 cups
so 6 cups / 2 cups = 3 pints
