The use of alcohol for recreational purposes dates back at least 9000 years.The most ancient alcoholic drink goes back to 7,000-6,600 B.C. Buildups of the drink were found in stoneware shards from the antiquated town of Jiahu, in China's Henan Region. The drink comprised of a blend of rice, honey, and aged grapes or other organic product.
