What are two ways that heat is transferred from a region of higher tempture to a region of lower tempture in this example of an ice cube in glass water?

Well to start off, the water has probably lost a bit of heat from the ice cube making it a few degrees lower than normal, but the outside temperature of the glass is warming it up. The next heat transfer is the water to the ice cube causing the ice cube to drop in temperature and melt in the water.
