-29= 5 (2a-1) +2a
Start by distributing the terms....
- 29 = 10a - 5 + 2a
Combine like terms...
- 29 = 12a - 5
Add 5 to both sides ....
- 2 4 = 12 a
Divide both sides by 12 to get a by its self...
a = -2
