hi
First of all you have to wrap it in a cellophane film to protect it from any contamination.
Then, usually, the coldest part in a fridge is at the top, not the bottom.

You should first put them in sealed containers to stop them from dripping or touching other foods. Raw meats and fish should always be stored at the bottom of the fridge to prevent cross-contamination.
