The Framers thought that excessive democracy would lead to a forfeiture of authorization due to the redeployment of land and wealth. In order to avoid this, the United States can uphold a stable and reasonable government. They were also anxious that they would perish, so they pushed the reorganization of the Articles of Confederation.
