Where do the graphs of y = 3x and y= 3x + 4 intersect the y -axis and what is the relationship between the two lines?

The equations y = 3x and y = 3x + 4 can not intersect because they have the same slope meaning they are both parallel lines.

Hope I helped :)

y=3x should intersect the y-axis at 0,0 (technically it is y=3x+0) and for y=3x+4, (0,4) is where the equation intersects the y-axis. Because both these equations share the same slope, this means the two lines are parallel to each other. Hope this helps!
