the solution of question 17 to 24.

to plot any points (x,y) on the graph,

1. The x-component of the point (x, y) moves the point along a horizontal line. If the x- value is positive, the point moves “x-units” towards the right side. On the other hand, if the x-value is negative, the point moves “x-units” towards the left.

2. The y-component of the point (x, y) moves the point along a vertical line. If the y-value is positive, the point moves “y-units” in an upward direction. However, if the y-value is negative, the point moves “y-units” in a downward direction.

consider the case of (-1,-5)

here x=-1

so, x component moves on the left side,

y=-5,

so at x=-1, the point moves downward (negative y-axis) and stop at -5

the stopping is the point whose coordinates are (-1,-5).

Similarly goes with all the points.
