PLEASE HELP! FREE POINTS!

For a giveaway, a local radio station is putting together goodie bags. The bags will include tickets and posters. Each bag will receive an equal share of 54 tickets and 36 posters.

(a) What is the greatest number of goodie bags that can be created? Explain your reasoning.

(b) How many of each type of giveaway will be in each bag? Explain your reasoning.

so your looking for greatest # of goodie bags A: So in this equation you are wanting to find the GCF of the numbers which I came up with is 9 36 divided by 9= 4 Then 54 divided by 9 = 6 You do this so now you can have the same number of bags for each number which would only make sense. So we are going to have 9 bags and in one bag will carry 4 tickets and 6 posters. Hope I explained this good enough and it helps :-)

(a)18 bags maximum. 2 posters + 3 tickets per bag.
(b) 2 posters and 3 tickets per bag. 18 x 3 tickets = 54 & 18 x 2 posters = 36
