If 4 apples cost $3.04, than one apple would cost .76 cents.

So, we can assume all of the apples are the same price right? It doesn't matter about size or color because the problem doesn't tell us that. So, we can conclude one apple is the same prices as another.

Well, to figure out how much one apple costs, we can divide 3.04 by 4. This is because we have 4 apples so we can take that price of the 4 apples total and divide it by haw many apples the problem gives us.

So, 3.04 / 4 = .76
