"A Question" by Robert Frost. Which question does Frost raise in the poem?

A voice said, Look me in the stars
And tell me truly, men of Earth
If all the soul-and-body scars
were not too much to pay for birth.

1. Why are humans unable to fully appreciate all of nature's gifts?
2. Is the physical and emotional pain humans suffer worth it?
3. Why do humans die so easily from wounds and illnesses?
4. Is it possible for humans to stop hurting one another?

The question posed, presumably by God to the people of earth, is whether or not all the pain, both emotional and physical, that comes with life outweighs the privilege of being born, the joys and adventure that one experiences in life.

the answer is 2. Is the physical and emotional pain humans suffer worth it?
