PLZ Help I really need to know how to do this

SKIING  The distance in meters that a person 
travels on skis can be modeled by d(t) = 0.2t^2 + 3t,
where t is the time in seconds. Use the Remainder
Theorem to find the distance traveled after 45
seconds.

Sent a picture of the solution to the problem (s). The arrow are showing how I multiplied 45 to .2 and got 9. Also how I multiplied 45 to 12 to get 540.
