The answer is 17. the exponent rule cancels out the 1/7 and 7, which makes them a 1

Look back at the rules of exponents.
(a^n)^d = a^(n×d)
Therefore,
(17^1/7)^7
=17^(1/7×7)
=17^(7/7)
=17^1 or 17
