The population in Utah was 2,763,888 in 2010. The number of people living in Utah in 2016 increased by 10.4% percent. What was Utah's approximate population in 2016?

so, if we take then 2,763,888 to be the 100%, that was in 2010, then 6 years later, it went up by 10.4%, so the population in 2016 was then 100% + 10.4% that of 2010, or 110.4%.

now, if 2,763,888 is the 100%, what is the 110.4% of it then?
