To solve a system of linear equations graphically we graph both equations (or more) in the same coordinate system. The solution to the system will be in the point where the two lines (or more) intersect.

Lets take the following example of 2 equations in 2 unknows:


\begin{gathered} 8x-4y=16 \\ 8x+4y=16 \end{gathered}

The graph of these functions is

then, we can see tha the solution is point (0,2) because is the intersection point of the two lines.

In general, we must graph each equation in one coordinate system (x.y) and the intersection point will be the solution of the system of equations.
