Answer:

The act demanded that all the 13 american colonists provide provisions and housing to British soldiers, even in private homes.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Quartering Acts, is part of Coercive Acts that was passed on June 2nd, 1774; it was designed in such a way, that the British soldiers will be provided food and particularly housing, by the local government of all the 13 colonies of America, even in private homes, if the situation demands.

It was a followed up to Quartering Acts of 1765 and its expansion in 1776, which only demanded that Barracks should be provided for the British Soldiers stationed across the Colonies. However, due to uproar from Boston, the British Parliament as a punishment, then extend the provision of housing to private houses, so as to maintain order.

Colonists were expected to allow British troops to live in their homes, and to take care of them and give them basic needs, while the British troops "protected them".

The Colonists decided that they didn't need protection, and got really angry

hope this helps
