6/1 (6 over 1)

A way to prove this is...

(1,5) (0,-1)

Take the 1st and 2nd digit for both sets and arrange them as so:

(-1 - 5) / (0 - 1)

-6/-1 = 6/1

Hope this method helped! There is an entire mini-lesson on this topic on coolmath

we know that

The formula to calculate the slope between two points is equal to

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

in this problem we have

A(-1,-7)\ B(1,5)

substitute the values in the formula

m=(5+7)/(1+1)

m=(12)/(2)

m=6

therefore

the answer is

the slope of the line is
6
