starch in pasta, is used as carbs. carbs are what help hive us enough energy for a day, that is why runners eat things sigh as spagehtii before a run. but plant sugars, they give us the energy to complete the respiratory system daily

simple sugars travel through the bloodstream to the body cells and there they provide energy which can be use to form proteins or stored for future use
