the answer to this is 1/3

1/3=2/6

So he ate 2/6ths of the pizza and now there is 4/6ths left.

He took 1/6ths with him for lunch so 4/6-1/6=3/6
You can simplify 3/6 to 1/2

He was 1/2 of the pizza left.
