The diagram given above is that of the animal cell. The structure indicated in the diagram are as follows:
A = Golgi apparatus
The golgi apparatus takes in manufactured proteins, which it sorts and package for transportation to different locations inside the cell. It also produces the membranes that surround the lysosomes.
B = Nucleolus
The nucleolus is located inside the nucleus. It is the organelle that stores DNA, it also produces ribosomes.
C = Endoplasmic reticulum
There are two types of endoplasmic reticulum, rough and smooth endoplasmic reticulum. The rough endoplasmic reticulum has ribosomes attached to its surface and that is why it is called rough. Rough endoplasmic reticulum produces proteins in union with ribosomes while the smooth endoplasmic reticulum transport ribosomes and produce lipids.
D = Mitochondria
Mitochondria is the power house of the cell; it produces ATP from cellular respiration.
E = Ribosomes
Ribosomes are sites of protein synthesis within the cells.
F = Lysosome
Lysosome contains digestive enzymes. The lysosome functions by digesting worn out tissues and other wastes within the cells.
