these two equations are the same in solving, with this difference that after you compute 7*2=14 you put 1 zero or 3 zero in front of 14.

7*2,0=14,0
7*2,000=14,000

Answer:

7* 20=140

7* 2000=14000

Explanation:

To find : Explain how finding
7* 20 is similar to finding
7* 2,000 then find both products ?

Solution :

First we find the product of
7* 20

7* 20=140 .....(1)

Now, to find the product of
7* 2,000

We can re-write the product as,

7* 2,000=7* 20* 100

Using (1),

7* 2,000=140* 100

7* 2,000=14000

It is similar as the difference is about the multiple of 10.
