c^2 = a^2 + b^2
c^2 = 3.4^2 + 2.6^2
c^2 = 11.56 + 6.76
c^2 = 18.32
c = 4.3

answer
c = 4.3

hypotenuse = c

c^2 = 3.4^2 + 2.6^2

c^2 = 11.56 + 6.76

c^2 = 18.32

c = sqrt(18.32) = 4.28

rounded to nearest tenth = 4.3
