There are only two correct sentence here, and those are Había mucho que hacer and Hay mucho que hacer. However, their meaning is slightly different - the first one means There was much to do, and the second one means There is much to do. So depending on your sentence, you should choose either one of those options.
The first two sentences are grammatically incorrect in Spanish.
