Based on the timeline, the war between Aztecs and Zapotecs ended in 1496, with the signing of a peace treaty, starting a period of peace between both cultures.

The Zapotec people mainly occupied the Valley of Oaxaca in southern Mexico in pre-Columbian times. The Zapotec civilization was, together with the Mayan and Aztec civilizations, one of the most important in Mesoamerica.

The Aztec Empire was an entity of territorial, political and economic control that existed in the central zone of Mesoamerica before the Spanish Conquest.

It says in the timeline above - 1496 Peace treaty with Aztecs. When you sign a peace treaty, it means that you cease all wars because it has been agreed that no wars should ensue anymore. Thus, that would be the correct answer as to when peace started.
